A rooftop tent CAN be installed on any car that has roof rails. Cross bars (roof racks) are attached to the rails and the tent mounts on those.
A rooftop tent CANNOT be installed on a car with a plain roof (no roof rails). Clamp-on racks can be fitted to such cars, but their load capacity is not enough to carry a rooftop tent. Convertibles are also not suitable.
If roof racks can be fitted to your car, the roof itself is strong enough. Roof rails have a separate load rating — usually the DYNAMIC capacity (while driving) of about 75–100 kg is listed.
The STATIC capacity — while the car is parked, which is what matters for sleeping in the tent — is usually about 3× higher than the dynamic one.

Yes. We rent universal roof racks for an extra fee (kokkuleppel). Tick the roof rack box on the booking form. Your car does need roof rails.
No prepayment. You pay at pick-up in cash or by bank transfer, plus a 100 € deposit which is returned in full when the tent is returned in good condition.
